"PROCEDURAL PIPES"

Motivation

Development started on "Procedural Pipes" after taking an interest in procedural generation. During my third-year Game AI module at uni, the coursework required procedural land generation components. This implementation led to a general interest in procedurally generated geometry. Combing this with my love for puzzle games, I began working on "Procedural Pipes"

Project Summary

"Procedural Pipes" is a prototype puzzle game being developed with the aim of challenging players in an interactive puzzle-solving experience. The core of this project utilizes a procedural maze generation algorithm. This algorithm generates pipe networks on various grid sizes, providing players with a unique puzzle with each generation. This also means that each player will have an entirely unique experience.

With a few more weekends of development, I aim to launch the game on mobile platforms, using basic touchscreen inputs to interact with the game. The general goal is to create an endless puzzle game that can be challenging yet soothing to lose yourself in.
